WRH50109 Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management
Course Duration: 6 months (21 weeks plus 5 weeks holidays)The ultimate hairdressing qualification, the Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management gives you the skills and knowledge to be able to manage or own and operate your own salon. This is a Nationally Recognised Qualification. This qualification will give you an advantage as you will be able to implement marketing activities, manage occupational health and safety requirements and have business planning skills. This course is essential for anyone who wishes to manage or own their own business. The Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management is also a Higher Education entry level equivalency.
To achieve a Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management, all 6 core units and 4 elective units must be completed.

Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years or older
- International students must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
Teaching Methods
AHBC Diploma students learn the skills required to manage and own a business successfully with a mix of face to face sessions, lectures and contemporary learning resources that include DVD’s, role plays, and field trips. This ensures that our graduates gain a high level of competence and are highly sought after in the hairdressing industry. Students are provided with study guides for each unit.
RPL and RCC
If the candidate has had previous studies or experience managing or owning a hairdressing salon, he/she may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competency (RCC). If you wish to apply for RPL or RCC, you are required to submit the RPL application form. Please contact the College for fees and duration etc. Granting RPL or RCC will result in a change in your course duration as international students must be enrolled in full time study.
