Why study Hairdressing?
The Hairdressing Industry is in short supply of well-qualified technicians. This industry is growing at a rapid rate and in need of graduates from professional and accredited providers. Australia offers first class education and qualifications. International students choose to study at Australian Hair & Beauty College to pursue education and to build up a successful career in the hairdressing industry with qualifications that can take you all over the world. The extensive knowledge we deliver to our students will enable them to enter many specialist areas in this field with the potential to become self-employed in their own business.
International Student VISA requirements (DIAC) Department of Immigration and Citizenship
Australian law requires international students to study full time 20 hours per week. AHBC monitors student’s attendance weekly to identify and counsel students whom are at risk of failing to meet minimum course attendance requirements. Please visit www.immi.gov.au for information on student visas. International students are also required to purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). This health cover is insurance that covers the costs should you need medical or hospital care. You must arrange your OSHC before your VISA is granted.
