  • Now is the time to apply for admission into a reputable College that believes in quality training and assessment. Here are the following reasons:

    1. AHBC study program

Students have the ability to complete their course(s) based on competency based training. This can be done by attending College longer hours and embracing your study load. Private tutoring is available for students, see administration for details. Suitable students may apply for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) and RCC (Recognition of Current Competency) if they have had previous experience or studies in the hairdressing industry. If your RPL application is successful, your course duration will be shortened which may have an impact on your student visa. AHBC believes in flexible learning. AHBC students can design and schedule their course hours in accordance with educator recommendations and to suit individual workloads. International students are required to study full time.

    2. Job Ready Assistance

AHBC staff constantly keeps in contact with the hairdressing industry to be able to provide current information from salon owners and relevant persons to help prepare students to enter the workforce. AHBC has a variety of Job ready classes to prepare students for entering the industry, the classes run twice a week through out the year on a rotation schedule. This ensures our students are job ready and confident to start their new career! Extra Job Ready classes are available. Contact the College for further information.
